Q. I want to move my existing website to your servers. How can I make sure the site doesn't experience any downtime? A. Here is the order in which to do things in order to avoid downtime: Backup any website files and MySQL databases on your old site. Make a note of any emails you have set up on your old server. Sign up for web hosting with azmer.net. Once you get your welcome email, upload your website files. You will be able to view it via a temporary IP URL. Set up your same email accounts using your account's Cpanel. Also set up and populate any databases you may have. Confirm that your site is working from the temporary IP URL and that there are no broken links or missing data. Change the DNS Nameservers on your domain name to NS1.AZMER.NET NS2.AZMER.NET. This is the last step, as it will point your domain name to the new servers. Thsi could take 24-72 hours for this to be complete.
